Terms of Use

1. Agreement and eligibility

By accessing or using Puki, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must have legal capacity to enter into this agreement or use Puki with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

2. Pre-launch status and the Puki service

The mobile application is currently marked Coming Soon. Website descriptions, previews, pricing, and feature lists may be refined before release. Once available, Puki will help organise pet-care information and reminders. Features may vary by device, region, plan, and app version.

Not veterinary advice

Puki is an organisational tool, not a veterinary service or medical device. Reminders and content do not replace professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care. Always verify schedules and dosages with a qualified veterinarian.

3. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information and independently verify important reminders.
• Keep your device and account secure.
• Use Puki lawfully and respect intellectual-property and privacy rights.
• Do not disrupt, scrape, reverse engineer where prohibited, misuse, or attempt unauthorised access to the service.
• Maintain appropriate backups of important pet-care information.

4. Licence and ownership

Subject to these Terms and applicable App Store rules, Anton Kasatkin grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Puki for its intended purpose. Puki software, design, branding, and original content remain owned by Anton Kasatkin or the relevant licensors. You retain ownership of content you provide and grant only the permissions reasonably needed to operate the service.

5. Puki Premium subscriptions

At launch, the intended standard prices are US $3.99 per month and US $39.99 per year. The final price, currency, taxes, subscription period, and included features shown in the App Store purchase screen control and may vary by country or Apple price tier.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account after confirmation.
• The subscription automatically renews for the selected period unless cancelled before renewal in accordance with Apple’s rules.
• You can manage or cancel it in iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions → Puki.
• Deleting Puki does not cancel a subscription.
• Apple handles billing and refund requests under its rules, without limiting mandatory consumer rights.
• Any trial terms and legally required price-change notices will be shown before they apply.

6. Availability and updates

Puki is provided with reasonable care, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Reminders may depend on notification permissions, Focus modes, connectivity, battery settings, iOS behaviour, and third-party systems. Install updates and independently confirm time-sensitive pet care.

7. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Puki at any time. Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary because of a material breach, fraud, unlawful use, a security threat, or a legal requirement. Proportionate notice will be provided where reasonably possible. Provisions intended to survive termination remain effective.

8. Liability and consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Anton Kasatkin is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, missed reminders caused by device settings or external systems, or losses arising from treating Puki as veterinary advice. For paid services, aggregate contractual liability will not exceed the amount you paid for Puki during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, except where such a limit is prohibited by law.

9. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available in their country of residence. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Ukraine unless applicable consumer law permits or requires another forum. Before filing a claim, contact puki.support@proton.me so we can try to resolve the issue.

10. Changes and contact
